NEW TRIP!

Step aboard SV Sea Dragon for an extraordinary high-latitude passage from St Pierre & Miquelon to Nuuk, Greenland. This 1,200-nautical-mile voyage follows the edge of the North Atlantic into Arctic waters, tracing the path of icebergs and seabirds as we cross into the realm of midnight sun and cold, clear air.

Leaving the rocky French islands of St Pierre & Miquelon, we’ll sail north along the coasts of Newfoundland and Labrador before heading across the Labrador Sea toward Greenland. This is true expedition sailing—remote, unpredictable, and breathtakingly beautiful. Expect long days of daylight, cold but steady winds, and the possibility of encountering icebergs, whales, and seabirds along the way.

This voyage offers the perfect combination of challenge and wonder: hands-on offshore sailing in one of the world’s most dramatic seascapes. You’ll be part of a small, capable crew, standing watch, trimming sails, navigating, and learning to manage an expedition yacht in Arctic conditions.

You’ll also get to

  • Experience the thrill of crossing into the Arctic Circle under sail
  • Learn advanced seamanship, cold-weather sailing, and navigation techniques
  • Observe whales, seabirds, and icebergs along a classic North Atlantic route
  • Take part in true expedition sailing through remote northern waters
  • Celebrate landfall in Nuuk, Greenland’s colourful capital

Sailing with Panexplore means joining a genuine sailing expedition—no fixed script, no set itinerary, just the sea, the weather, and a skilled team adapting to conditions. You’ll gain hands-on experience, confidence, and lasting memories in one of the world’s most awe-inspiring regions.

If you have any medical conditions, recent injuries, or concerns about your fitness level, we strongly recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before booking. This expedition is not suitable for individuals with severe mobility limitations or certain medical conditions.
