NEW 2027 ITINERARY!

From the remote coral expanse of Kiritimati, SV Sea Dragon heads north-east toward some of the Pacific’s most isolated atolls before making landfall in Hawaii. This 1,400-nautical-mile expedition links wild, little-visited islands with one of the world’s most iconic sailing destinations.

We may call at Tabuaeran (Fanning Island) and pass near or anchor off Palmyra Atollan extraordinary wildlife refuge of lush islets and thriving reefs. These remote stops, conditions permitting, offer rare glimpses of untouched Pacific ecosystems.

The final leg carries us across open ocean toward Oʻahu, where the skyline of Honolulu and the welcoming docks of Waikiki Yacht Club signal the completion of a major Pacific passage.

You’ll also get to

  • Sail a remote Central Pacific expedition route
  • Potentially visit Tabuaeran and sight Palmyra Atoll (weather permitting)
  • Build confidence in offshore navigation and long-range planning
  • Stand watches on a demanding ocean leg
  • Celebrate landfall in Hawaii after a rewarding passage

Sailing with Panexplore means you’re not just along for the ride. You’ll be part of the crew—standing watches, trimming sails, navigating, and learning as you go. Whether you’re building miles, confidence, or simply a deeper connection with offshore sailing, Panexplore voyages are designed to be immersive, educational, and rewarding.

Our onboard cuisine is inspired by the places we sail through. Our galley follows a local & ocean-inspired philosophy—prioritizing local produce, coastal flavors, and fresh catch when the ocean provides. We can cater to specific diets, just let us know!

If you have any medical conditions, recent injuries, or concerns about your fitness level, we strongly recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before booking. This expedition is not suitable for individuals with severe mobility limitations or certain medical conditions. Your safety and enjoyment are our priority, and we want to ensure this experience is appropriate for your physical capabilities. Please contact us should you have any questions or concerns before booking.
