NEW TRIP!

From the mid-Atlantic waters of Bermuda to the bustling skyline of New York City, this voyage aboard SV Sea Dragon traces one of the most exhilarating approaches in ocean sailing. Covering roughly 900 nautical miles, it’s a chance to experience bluewater sailing and one of the most iconic landfalls in the world, the Statue of Liberty, rising on the horizon.

Departing St. George’s, we’ll set a course northwest, crossing the Gulf Stream and navigating the shifting winds and currents that make this region both challenging and rewarding. You’ll feel the full spectrum of offshore sailing—from the calm of a moonlit night at sea to the exhilaration of trimming sails in a fresh Atlantic breeze. As we near the U.S. coast, the sense of anticipation builds. Making landfall after a week or more at sea is always special, but few arrivals can match the sight of Manhattan’s skyline appearing from the haze. The voyage ends at ONE°15 Brooklyn Marina, nestled against the backdrop of the city that never sleeps.

You’ll also get to

  • Cross the Gulf Stream, a major ocean current and an offshore navigator’s test
  • Gain experience with changing weather systems and coastal approaches
  • Learn about ocean routing, night watches, and sail-handling in open water
  • Experience the thrill of an iconic arrival into New York Harbor
  • Strengthen teamwork and offshore skills under professional guidance

Sailing with Panexplore means hands-on learning and true seamanship. You’ll participate fully in life aboard—helming, navigating, managing watches, and making decisions as a crew. Every mile adds confidence and experience under real conditions.

If you have any medical conditions, recent injuries, or concerns about your fitness level, we strongly recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before booking.
